Darling Girl is a little girl after my own heart. She gets my jokes, loves to sing, has a lot of the same interests as me, and even looks like me. She’s a complete girlie girl and loves dolls and princesses, just like I did when I was a little girl. She’s the sweetest and most generous little girl ever. I can say that because I’m her mom.Darling Girl turned 7 years old a week ago and she’s a happy child. I’m proud of her. My heart just bursts when I look at my baby girl. She’s bright, bubbly, goofy, silly, but she can also be serious and care-taking. She’s intelligent and quick-witted.
Don’t forget that I said she loves to sing. Like a Disney Princess, in fact. We even have the same favorite princesses: Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Rapunzel. But she also has a healthy love of jazz, blues, rock, pop, musicals, and anything except “old fart man country music.”
Well… she’s eating her supper (cheddar potato soup) and playing with her newest Rapunzel doll that she received for her birthday and she’s singing in between bites.
“I’m a souuuuuul princess! Not souuuuuuul man! And I have souuuuuul hair!”
Oh my gosh I love her.
