I don’t think I ever updated about my concerns with Anneliese’s speech (my first grader) and having her evaluated, but my girl doesn’t need need speech therapy. It’s quite a relief. No IEP or 504 required for this kiddo. ::throws little party:: What’s great, in a nutshell, is that Anna is aware of her speech differences and is able to compensate and practice her speech. It’s just taking her a little longer to outgrow some of the speech sounds that are typical for younger children.
It’s kind of nice not having to add letters to our alphabet soup.
